Who We Are
At Desert Fitness and Sound, we believe wellness is a journey—not a destination—and we’re here to walk that path with you. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning to deepen your practice, our mission is to meet you exactly where you are.
We offer a calming blend of movement-based, focused, instructor-led classes, Pilates-influenced workouts, and sound therapy designed to help you reconnect with your body, quiet the noise of daily life, and cultivate lasting strength and balance. Our approach is rooted in compassion, community, and the belief that healing happens when we move with intention and listen inward.
This is a space for growth, for grounding, and for finding peace in motion. We’re honored to be part of your wellness story.
About the Instructor

I am Kaeli Hines owner of Desert Yoga And Sound LLC.
I began my journey as a yogi and Pilates student in around the age of 16 and began training to teach in 2008. After taking some time to raise my kids I completed my yoga teacher training in 2018 to become an RYT 200.
Having completed my advanced training for RYT 500 in 2021, I hold specialty certifications in Childrens’ Yoga, Pre/Post Natal Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Mat Pilates, and Aqua Yoga/Fitness.
I am also a certified Sound Healing Facilitator and Reiki II/Prayer Healing Facilitator. I believe yoga is for everyone, and “every body.” I love sharing my passion and my joy with my students and friends, my three kids, my husband, and our two pets, who often reminds me to stretch out into puppy pose or do a sphinx pose.
I believe the yoga mat offers grace, mending powers, and acceptance. It is so important that we fill our own cups with self-care so that we can overflow love and light onto those we care for. I believe this approach to self-care is vital to thriving in life. My upbringing taught me to use the remedying power of touch to harness natural methods for healthcare and nutrition, and most importantly to love people, for we are all deserving of love, for we are all perfectly and wonderfully made. I believe that contentment and happiness come from self-acceptance, forgiveness, and from continually seeking opportunities to lovingly serve others. I utilize my teaching to share this message through compassion, encouragement, love, and laughter.
“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Proverbs 17:22
